ROOF TYPES:

Roof types are generally broken down into two basic groups - STEEP SLOPE and LOW SLOPE.

STEEP SLOPE roofing materials include slate, concrete & clay tile, wood shingles & shakes, composite shingles & shakes, asphalt composition shingles, sheet metal, and various other miscellaneous products.

LOW SLOPE roofing materials include organic & fiberglass rolled roofing products used in Built-up Roofing (BUR) applications, modified bitumen rolled roofing used in BUR and torch-applied applications, single-ply rolled products such as PVC, TPO & EPDM, fluid-applied products, asphalt & specialty adhesives and various other miscellaneous products.

Naturally, STEEP SLOPE and LOW SLOPE roofing applications typically have their own sets of installation requirements and hardware.
